Hi, I’m Dr. Yalun Zhang - and welcome to Aperture Psychiatry. I know that sometimes reaching out for help can be difficult, so if you’re here - I’m glad you found your way. My philosophy is simple: mental health means more than just finding the right medication or DSM diagnosis; it also means taking into consideration your cultural beliefs, your relationships, your goals, and what brings your life meaning. That’s why I take an integrative and holistic approach to mental health.

I’m a Harvard-trained psychiatrist with clinical expertise in working with patients struggling with anxiety, mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), and trauma (PTSD, complex PTSD, acute stress disorder) - amongst others. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, or simply feel like life isn’t what you want it to be, my goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and respected.

At Aperture Psychiatry, we’ll work together to let more light in, help you focus on the things that matter most to you, and build a life that feels more like your own. I look forward to meeting you.
